There has been a Horticultural Society in Sharnbrook for many years. The local society is affiliated to the Royal Horticultural Society. There are currently almost 100 members of the Sharnbrook society. All the members range in age from the very young to the 'not so young'! with varying ability and experience who all share a common love of gardening and things 'horticultural'

Established as a non-profit-making association, with Constitution and managed by a Voluntary Committee consisting of a minimum of Chair, Treasurer and Secretary.

The voluntary management committee meets monthly - See below for dates and minutes.

Our purpose is to promote the interest in 'horticulture' by organising meeting, talks, demonstrations, quizzes, shows and outings so that we can expand our collective knowledge, assist others in theirs and generally enjoy what we all share

Apart from meeting other local people with a shared interest in 'Gardening' we publish a regular newsletter giving advance notice of events and workshops, discounted activities and 15% of seed, plant and materials from major UK suppliers.

Do you feel the need to 'get your hands dirty?' or possibly you simply like looking at flowers in some of the best gardens in the area? Perhaps you fancy 'showing off' your prowess at the Annual Show? Or maybe you enjoy visiting some of the UK's finest Gardens? If you only join us on one outing a year to one of the UK's most beautiful gardens - its well worth the annual subscription of £5 for a family/£4 individual.
