When We Meet
|
|

Sunday Services at 10.30am are flexible and we adapt them to meet the needs of the congregation. After the service there is an opportunity to talk with friends over coffee. On the first Sunday in the month at 7pm we share in exploring a range of topics at meetings in members' homes. |
| Traidcraft & Coffee Mornings | |

Coffee Mornings on the second Saturday of the month at 10.30am provide an opportunity for people to meet and to buy from various stalls, such as Traidcraft, Books, Cakes, Plants. We frequently provide a collecting point for unwanted but usable items such as clothing, bedding, toiletries and spectacles. These are passed to other organisations who work with people who need them. |

Learning for Pleasure is an initiative by Sharnbrook Methodist Church to provide opportunities for adults to learn about new interests and hobbies during the day using volunteer tutors. Activities are on Wednesdays between 10am and 3:45pm during the autumn and spring terms |

We are involved in fundraising for both home and overseas charities through social events and various stalls at our Coffee Mornings. Our support over the years has gone to a variety of causes and we are currently raising funds for a children's home in Zimbabwe and for Christian Family Care's mother and baby project, Charis, in Bedford. We also have a particular interest in the post-tsunami recovery work in villages in Aceh, Sumatra. |
