Acorn Childcare is part of Acorn Early Years Foundation, a social enterprise with charitable status. As a not-for-profit organisation with nearly 30 years’ experience of running day nurseries, we are passionate about providing high quality childcare and early years education that is affordable and accessible.
Our ethic of care and emphasis on the personal touch is combined with a focus on professionalism and an enthusiasm for outdoor learning. We have 11 nurseries, several out-of-school clubs and forest school holiday clubs across Milton Keynes, Northamptonshire and Bedfordshire, and also have a training centre for early years professionals. All the nursery meals are freshly prepared in our kitchen by our cook and we aim to provide nutritionally balanced meals which are both healthy and appetising. Acorn Childcare has achieved both the Smile Award Plus+ and the Healthy Early Years Award across all nurseries.
